NRA Personal Protection In The Home is an excellent course for adults regardless of whether they carry a concealed handgun or not.  This course covers ways to make your home less inviting to criminals, responding to a home invasion, safe room concepts, safe room drills for the entire family, using a handgun in your home as a last resort, calling the police, the aftermath of a defensive shooting in your home, physiological, psychological and emotional effects and other important information.

This course is 5 to 6 hours in the classroom plus 3 to 4 hours on the range which is scheduled on a subsequent day.  We will be offering this course again in 2012 through several configurations including weekday, 2 weekday evenings and on weekends starting in late March or early April.  Students must have completed an acceptable basic handgun course prior to taking this home invasion defense course.  Beginners may find that our NRA First Steps Pistol class is a good fit for this purpose and we offer a special bundled price.
